Surfing in bali during the rainy season

Winter is just around the corner, very soon our friends from whole the World will be covered by snowdrifts and snowstorms, and at this time in Bali the “winter” surfing season will begin on the east coast of the island. Today we will tell you about several of the most popular spots for the period from November to March - they are called Serangan, Bali soul, Black stone, Mushroom rock, Baby reef.
Let's start.

Serangan, Sanur

Located on the island of the same name, connected by road to the island of Bali. Entry to the island has recently been closed. Opening date unknown. Previously, entry and exit to the surf spot was from the sandy beach on the island. Since 2019, to get to the spot you need to board one of the boats in Sanur or on the island, Serangan.

Reef break. Entry and exit from the boat. Two peaks.

At the Insight Peak the wave is left and right. Both waves are not very fast and are approximately the same in length. Optimal conditions for surfing: swell of 5-6 feet, at an average tide level. There is a noticeable current along the reef. At low tide the reef becomes dangerous. Be careful, with a swell of 7 feet or more, the channels may close.
At the Outside Peak, sometimes a right wave comes, but the main one is still a left one. You need a good swell, from 6 feet. The wave is very fast. Finding yourself in the right place is not so easy, as the peaks move. But if you took this wave, then rest assured, you will get what you came for! There are no serious currents, but, of course, you shouldn’t forget to take landmarks on the shore. With a large swell, pipes appear.
